This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I drive almost an Hour to come enjoy their food a few times a month. I crave their food. THEY ARE EPIC. In photo is my favorite meal to order. Chicken kabobs with potato wedges and olive salad. I also ordered a SD of pajorki ( potato stuffed bread roll)
It's probably the best Tazik food in SC. The chicken and beef were super tender and juicy. The staff was super nice too. And don't forget you try their cakes and breads.
WOW! My wife and I were visiting our daughter and Googled restaurants near me with high reviews and Smak came up. When we arrived, there were not many patrons and we almost left before we even went in. What a mistake that would have been. Once inside we were graciously greeted and seated. We asked what are a few favorites and we went with that. I believe its pilaf, chicken and potatoes that I ordered and my wife ordered the roasted potatoes, beef and beets. We also ordered the lamb stew. When it came out the portions were large and presented beautifully. It was one of the BEST meals we’ve both had in a long time. We finished with desert bhaklava, tiramisu and honey cake. We are not desert people but everything was so delicious, imagine dessert?!? It was also amazing. Everything was made inhouse. Fresh and delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
One of the best places in the Carolinas. Quality ingredients, professional service, and clean, but also with a loving, homemade touch. The quality of the food is not covered by sugar or salt or chemicals. You leave having been nurtured by good food... and don't forget to take some desserts and pastry with you! I stopped at a restaurant on my way to Charlotte. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh; it was the best place to eat Russian, Ukrainian and Uzbek food. The food was so good that I also took additional meals home. Highly recommend it!
Everything tasted great. You can tell they prepare the food with love. Chicken kabob was crispy yet juicy on the inside potato salad was very filling.
I highly recommend checking this place out. The lamb pot roast is a must-have and you cannot go wrong with the cherry cake. Plus the drinks are tasty. The service was attentive and the owners are lovely. I live out-of-state, but I hope to stop in again when I come back to visit!
The food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was in town for a work trip and stumbled upon this gem. I ended up going there every single day while I was in the city! And don’t even get me started on their desserts they’re out of this world.
